About Maxine
My name is Maxine and I'm from Maui, Hawai'i. I've been through 25 different states and studied psychology throughout middle and high school. I've also survived round two of AGT, and done multiple different shows and gigs featuring me on the stage.
I can teach how to hold confidence, while also teaching the fundamentals of music, algebra, and guitar. This is a judgement free zone for all ages.

My teaching method is hands-on, with patience and self-discipline. I'm very kind, and I try to personally connect with my students on a friend level.
I teach k-12th grade for subjects and any age for guitar and singing. A typical lesson plan would include me thoroughly investigating what my student needs help with, and talking with them about what they feel most comfortable tackling first.
