About Monica

My name is Monica and I absolutely love teaching! We aren’t born knowing everything and anything can be learnt - yes, including Maths and English.

For the past eight years, I’ve had the pleasure of being a teacher in London, Brighton and Mexico! I’ve also spent a few years as an examiner, writing for an exam, so I can teach your child how to hack the exam and get the highest score they possibly can!

That being said, learning isn’t all about exams and I am interested in just about every subject under the sun and love making learning fun!

About the lesson

In our lessons, your child will cover the curriculum tested in the KS2 Standard Assessments (SATs) and learn how to “hack” the exams.

The lessons will either take place at your home or mine (I am based in Kentish Town) and will be an hour long.

The first lesson is diagnostic and after that, the lessons will follow the same structure:

- Go over last week’s homework
- New learning
- Put new learning into practice
- Mini test

We will then look at the homework for the following week.
