About Yasmine

Hi you! I'm Yasmine! I'm a language teacher and lover, and Arabic is my mother tongue. I grew up speaking Arabic, French and English at home, so I know what it feels like to live between languages, and I love helping people find their way into a new one.

I teach children, teens and adults, including heritage learners reconnecting with their family’s language, people with Arabic-speaking partners or friends, and travellers.

I have a degree in Education, three years of classroom experience, and I've taught more than 100 students online from all over the world. My students often tell me they feel relaxed in my lessons, and that's exactly the goal: Arabic can look intimidating at first, but with the right steps it becomes so rewarding. When I'm not teaching, I'm usually at the gym or learning a new language online, so you'll always find me with a bit of energy to share!

About the lesson

Hello مرحبا,
Every learner starts in a different place, so our first lesson is about getting to know you: why you want to learn Arabic, what you already know, and how you like to learn.
From there, I build a clear program just for you. Complete beginners start with the alphabet, sounds and simple everyday phrases, then we move step by step into reading, writing and real conversation. If you're already further along, we focus on fluency, vocabulary and confidence.
I can teach Modern Standard Arabic, and I'm happy to introduce Moroccan dialect if you're travelling or have Moroccan friends or family. After each lesson I send you our lesson, a short summary and some practice, so you never feel lost between sessions.
