About Habne
I’m passionate about helping children have access to learning languages, whether that’s keeping up with their native language or developing a completely new skill. As a native Portuguese speaker who speaks English in day-to-day life, I understand how easy it can be to slowly lose confidence in your native language when you don’t practise it regularly.
That’s one of the reasons I love teaching Portuguese. I enjoy helping children feel connected to the language in a fun and supportive environment, while building their confidence naturally. Seeing students grow, improve, and enjoy learning is the most rewarding part for me.

Olá! My name is Habne and I offer friendly and personalised Portuguese and Spanish lessons for children of all ages and GCSE students.
I create a calm and encouraging environment where students can feel confident learning at their own pace. For younger children, I make lessons fun and interactive through games, songs and simple conversation activities to help them naturally pick up the language.
For older students and GCSE learners, I focus on building confidence in speaking, reading, writing, listening, vocabulary, and grammar, while also helping with exam preparation and school support when needed.
Every lesson is adapted to the student’s level and learning style, whether they are complete beginners, already speak some Portuguese or Spanish at home, or want to improve their fluency. My aim is to make learning Portuguese enjoyable and something students look forward to.
