About Viola

I am a native Cantonese speaker originally from Hong Kong. I have lived and studied in both England and Canada. I am fluent in English and speak also Mandarin and Hakka as second and third language. I hold a Diploma in Legal Studies awarded by The University of Hong Kong. I have been living in Glasgow, Scotland for the last 19 years. I love being a tutor as I am passionate about nurture and education. I currently work full time as Child Development Officer in a local authority's EarlyYear Centre in Glasgow, I love my job as I enjoy working with children! I love teaching my native language Cantonese, it is indeed a vivid, imaginative language full of colourful expressions!

About the lesson

I am a keen educator and love teaching. I believe language is a valuable tool. If you want to fully understand the culture, you need to understand the language first.

Cantonese and written traditional Chinese may seem a little daunting for some. However, nothing is impossible if you learn it the right way. By learning incrementally will allow you to grow exponentially. To achieve success in whatever you want to learn, you will a need a good teacher. I can show you the fundamentals of Chinese stroke orders. My lessons can be customised to suit individual's needs.

I work full time as Child Development Officer in a local primary school in Glasgow therefore I have experience in teaching.
