I did Cantonese lessons with Andy on and off for a couple of months. Firstly Andy is a very kind and flexible man and we were able to conduct Cantonese lessons at times that suited both of our schedules, both online and in person.

As someone with zero experience of the Cantonese language I wanted to do beginner lessons as someone with Cantonese heritage.

I found Andy's information online and we started conducting lessons. The learning course was very structured with topics such as numbers, weather, time, useful verbs and topics that could be used in everyday conversation. We spoke together in Cantonese and English, and set learning objectives each week.


Andy was very proactive and it was clear he set time each week to prepare for the lesson.
