I am a current master student in UCL. I am also a native Chinese and Cantonese speaker. I have been giving lessons for two years and have taught more than ten students for private tutoring lessons and several group classes.

I would provide guidelines and deliver worksheet with exercise each class to ensure my student understand the objectives and topic the class would cover. In addition, instead of only focusing on a single aspect of language learning like building up the grammar or vocabulary, I usually develop a larger system such as starting from phonetics to words to phrases to sentences and avoid translating everything into my students' mother languages.
