About Yuxin
I am a philosophy graduate student and a native Chinese speaker with a passion for teaching. My background includes both studying complex ideas in philosophy and organizing lessons effectively, which has strengthened my logical thinking and teaching methods. I have experience interning at a high school, where I gained valuable insights into different learning styles and how to support students with various needs.
I want to teach Mandarin because I love helping others understand the language and culture, whether they are just beginning or want to deepen their skills. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and see students grow and achieve their goals.

I guide students in expressing common phrases used in everyday life. To reinforce learning, I use recordings to capture pronunciation and flashcards to record the written form, which helps with review and feedback.
For students who wish to improve their reading and writing skills or have some foundational knowledge, my approach involves reading a Chinese book together. The book will be selected based on the student’s interests and proficiency level.
