About Grace

As a Malaysian Chinese who was born and raised in China, I grew up in a Chinese-speaking environment and am deeply familiar with Chinese culture. Drawing from my background, I aim to teach and spread the richness of the Chinese language and its cultural nuances.

About the lesson

I believe having engaging conversations with the students is vital for them to learn a new language, apart from learning key vocabulary. My approach to tutoring revolves around creating an immersive and interactive learning experience, encompassing conversational practice, listening exercises, reading comprehension, and writing practice. With a focus on clear communication and fostering a deep understanding of the language, my goal is to help students not only master the mechanics of Chinese but also appreciate its beauty and significance. A lesson would typically last from 45 minutes to an hour. My lessons are for older students from secondary school and above who is interested in picking up a second language.
