About Arthur
I'm a 27 year old native English speaker from London. I've been teaching English for 2.5 years now and it's something I really enjoy. Students should expect a good level of fun balanced with some more rigorous grammar work. I pride myself on my rapport with my students and the ability to create a comfortable, calm teaching environment which is conducive to high level language learning. I can help you with any area of English, whether that is grammar, reading, pronunciation and everything in between. I have experience with all ages, from 4-60, so I'm confident I can help you, whatever your needs. I like to use a wide range of materials in my lessons. Usually I like to spend the first session getting an understanding of my student needs and preferences, which I can then use to inform how the lessons will run and which materials we will use. Some students prefer worksheets, while some prefer to just have a chat and practise their speaking in a more natural environment. Some students like to be tested while others just want to play games! I can provide for all these types of students and more and my years of experience in teaching have taught me to be prepared for all types of learners.
