About Travis
Hi, I’m Travis. I’m a native English speaker from the United States, and I spent two years living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Living abroad gave me firsthand experience communicating across language and cultural barriers every day, which helped me become patient, adaptable, and clear in conversation.
My background includes operations support, customer service, and working with people from many different backgrounds. I also have experience helping English learners through EnglishConnect conversation practice groups.
I enjoy meeting people from around the world and creating conversations that feel natural, comfortable, and encouraging. I understand that learning a language can feel stressful, so I focus on helping students feel more confident speaking without worrying about making mistakes.
