About Matt

I'm Matt, an anthropology post-grad, with a keen interest in languages. I've had all sorts of jobs, including English teacher, office worker, and even skateboard coach! Although I do not consider myself a teacher, I have a passion for helping people develop their own skills and achieve their own goals. I'm currently pursuing a postgrad degree in Social Anthropology.

I love self-studying languages but I know that it can sometimes be difficult to find native speakers to practice with, especially when you're not living in the country. My aim through offering these 'language buddy' sessions is to create an informal atmosphere, where you can feel confident chatting in English, whatever your level.

About the lesson

Hello language learners!

I am not a language teacher. I am an avid language learner who knows that sometimes you just need a session chatting with a native speaker.

The lesson content is up to you. If you just want to chat about everyday topics that's fine. If you have a specific topic you are interested in, then please feel free to bring it along. We can even spend half an hour practicing sentence structures or grammar you've just learned in your English class.

Please note, I do not have a syllabus or any learning materials of my own. I am just a native speaker here to provide input to your regular language learning.

I currently only offer 30-minute conversation sessions.

I currently only offer 30 min sessions for £5. It seems like it's only possible to book an hour session on super prof, so when you book, please specify two times for your two half hour sessions.

The free trial lesson is only 30 mins.
