About Angela
Hello! My name is Angela, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself. I come from a multi-ethnic background, with my mother hailing from the Philippines and my father from Italy. Although I’m native to the United States, my passion for learning about different cultures and histories has shaped who I am. I truly enjoy authentic interactions with people from all over the world. Helping others achieve their goals would be a dream come true for me!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in General History and International Studies, focusing on Western European Studies. For the past five years, I’ve taught at the elementary level, gaining a deep understanding of the English language. I can help you not only with pronunciation but also with the reasoning behind it. After teaching elementary education, I've become a very flexible and adaptable teacher. Although I have experience teaching younger kids, I am able and would like to work with all ages. My lesson plans vary depending on who my audience is and the skill level.
Learning a foreign language can be a potentially daunting experience. I would like to make the experience a positive one, one that leaves the student feeling accommodated, yet challenged.
