About Clara

Bonjour and welcome!

I'm Clara, a native French speaker from the beautiful Loire Valley in France, and I've been living in London for the past five years.

Learning and helping people grow has been at the heart of my career for over 14 years.

I've led learning programmes for international companies including The Body Shop, Sephora, L'Occitane, supporting professionals from different cultures, backgrounds and experience levels. This has taught me how to adapt my approach to every learner and create a supportive environment where people feel confident to learn and progress.

Whether you're learning French for travel, everyday conversations, relocation or simply for the pleasure of discovering a new language, I'll tailor each lesson to your goals and your pace. My lessons are interactive, practical and focused on building confidence through real conversations.

I also specialise in Business French for professionals who work with French colleagues or clients, are preparing for interviews or presentations, or simply want to communicate more naturally and confidently in the workplace.

My goal isn't simply to teach you French - it's to help you discover a culture and a joie de vivre!

About the lesson

French is more than a language - it's a powerful tool for building relationships, advancing your career, and communicating with confidence.
My first objective will be to understand how you feel about your French skills and what you want to achieve. We will determine at which pace you'd like to learn and if you have specific wishes or No Gos.

My always on goal will be to help you speak naturally, professionally, and with greater fluency in a supportive, non judgemental and engaging learning environment.

During a typical lesson, we could: warm up by describing the passed weekend, recaping what was seen during the previous session and if you'd like to review anything specific. We will then engage the conversation on a chosen or random topic that can be linked to your experiences, to the news, to arts & culture, etc.

And of course I will always make sure to bring some exciting French culture touch to the lesson!

There might be some "assignements" to do but they will remain optional and we will try as much as possible to link them with your next school assignement or work project !
