About Alexandre

Pour **“About me”**, je séparerais bien cette partie de “About lessons” : ici, l’objectif est de **te présenter, ton parcours, ta qualification DAEFLE et ta façon d’enseigner**, sans répéter le contenu des cours.

I am a native French speaker and a DAEFLE-certified French teacher, with a strong interest in language learning and teaching.

I trained specifically to teach French as a foreign language through the DAEFLE (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère), which has given me a solid foundation in French language pedagogy and in adapting teaching methods to different learners and levels.

I believe that learning a language should be both structured and practical. I take the time to understand each student's level, needs and objectives so that lessons can be adapted accordingly.

I am patient, attentive and organised, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and gradually gaining confidence in French.

Whether you are learning French for school, university, work, travel or personal interest, I will help you develop your skills in a clear and progressive way.

About the lesson

As a native French speaker and DAEFLE-certified French teacher, I offer personalised lessons for learners of different ages, levels and objectives.

For secondary school students (Junior Cycle / Leaving Certificate)

* General French: grammar, vocabulary, reading and written expression
* Speaking and listening practice
* Preparation for school assessments and exams
* Improving accuracy, fluency and confidence in French
* Help with homework and coursework

For university students

* Academic and general French
* Grammar, vocabulary and written expression
* Oral communication and presentation skills
* Conversation and comprehension
* Support with university-level assignments and exam preparation
* French for students studying or preparing to study in a French-speaking environment

For adults and working professionals

* General French for everyday communication
* French for work and professional situations
* Conversation and pronunciation
* Writing emails and communicating professionally in French
* French for travel, relocation or living in a French-speaking country
* Building confidence in real-life situations

For beginners

Lessons can start from the very basics, including pronunciation, essential vocabulary, sentence structure and everyday communication. The aim is to gradually build a solid foundation and the confidence to start speaking French.

For intermediate and advanced learners

We can focus on developing fluency, expanding vocabulary, improving grammatical accuracy and working on more complex conversations and written French. Lessons can also be adapted to specific interests, professional needs or academic objectives.

A personalised approach

The content of each lesson is adapted to your current level and objectives. Depending on your needs, lessons may combine conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, reading and writing.

Whether your goal is to improve your school results, prepare for an exam, succeed at university, communicate more confidently at work, or simply develop your French, we can build a structured learning programme around your objectives.
