About Cecile

Spontaneous, authentic woman! Born in the north of France, my parents are French (basically all my family is French), I went to uni in the champagne region and then started to work in Paris in a big consulting firm. Decided to move with my job to Sydney and would like to share my love for my native language. I love sports (surfing, skiing, climbing, running), sharing experiences, and above all French food (I could definitely share tips), culture and French expressions!

About the lesson

I'm convinced that the best way to learn French is through conversations with native speakers. My goal is to make our lessons enjoyable so that you look forward to learning and returning for more! Here's how we can approach learning together: 1. Writing and Reading: We'll take a structured approach with clear goals for each lesson. I enjoy starting by exploring your passions and needs, allowing us to focus on engaging and practical topics. To enhance your skills, we'll use techniques like interactive exercises, language games, and targeted reading assignments. Grammar drills and vocabulary expansion will play a crucial role in building your foundation. 2. Speaking and Listening: Informal chatting is essential for improving fluency. I'll suggest keeping a vocabulary notebook filled with new words and grammar tips that you can review on-the-go, whether you're on the bus or train. To boost your speaking skills, we'll use conversational prompts, role-playing scenarios, and listening exercises to help you become more confident in real-life situations. I'm very adaptable and eager to understand your unique goals and expectations. Let's make learning French an enriching experience that you genuinely enjoy!
