About Thomas

I was born and raised in a little town called Saint-Raphaël in the South of France by French and Italian parents.

After I got my Baccalaureate (A-Level), I studied Languages (English and Italian) at University before I started studying Musical Theatre. I then moved to Paris and then London to pursue this dream.
I am now a professional Musical Theatre performer in London but languages have always been a big part of my life.

Being able to speak different languages in a foreign country is amazing as I am constantly using my languages and improving my knowledge on the differences and similarities between French and English. Thanks to that, I am able to help English or other native speakers to really understand the French language.
My acting and accents training which was part of my degree is also a great tool for me in helping with students with French pronunciation and tone of the voice.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Thomas, I come from a little town in the South of France and I give French lesson from beginners to more advanced French users (all ages).

I want my lessons to be fun because French can be tricky to learn! I like to base my lessons on either materials that my students might already have (homework, prep for exams or books), or simply by approaching it with a subject they like and start from there.
I adapt and tailor my lessons to each individual student depending on their knowledge, their interests and goals.

I want my students to feel at ease with me and confident enough to not care about making mistakes, because that's what's going to make them progress (and everybody makes mistakes!)

I can also help with pronunciation and working towards reducing an accent to "sound more French".

My lessons are usually an hour long but can be longer depending on any exceptional occasions such as upcoming exams, meetings, or any other important events.
