About Chanelle

Bonjour! I'm Chanelle!

I'm a native French speaker from France, currently living in London. I’ve always loved travelling, discovering new places, and connecting with people from different cultures. For me, languages are not just about learning words and grammar - they’re about being able to share experiences, understand others, and feel more connected.

Having moved to another country myself, I know how challenging it can be to learn a new language and find the confidence to actually speak it. That’s why I want my lessons to be a place where you can practise French naturally, ask questions, make mistakes, and improve without pressure.

My professional experience has taught me how to communicate with people from different backgrounds, listen carefully, and adapt the way I explain things depending on the person. I love helping people feel more confident, and I would love to help you do the same with French.

Whether you’re starting from the beginning, preparing for a trip, improving your conversation skills, or simply wanting to practise with a native speaker, I’ll adapt my lessons to what works best for you.

Let’s make French feel more natural and enjoyable
À bientôt!

About the lesson

I know that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, especially when it comes to speaking and having the confidence to make mistakes. My goal is to help you feel more comfortable using French and make your learning experience enjoyable and practical.

I adapt my lessons depending on your level and what you want to achieve. Whether you're a complete beginner, planning a trip to France, looking to improve your conversation skills, or simply want to practise with a native speaker, we'll focus on what is most useful for you.

I like to keep lessons interactive and focused on real-life French. We'll practise conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, and expressions that you can actually use in everyday situations. Grammar will also be covered when needed, but always in a practical way rather than just learning rules.

Lessons are usually 60 minutes, giving us enough time to practise speaking, work on new topics, and answer any questions you may have.

Having lived in an English-speaking environment, I understand the challenges of learning another language and how difficult it can be to feel confident when speaking. I’ll do my best to make you feel comfortable and help you improve at your own pace.
