Working with Meg for French tutoring has been an amazing experience! She is incredibly patient, attentive, and genuinely passionate about helping me improve my French. Her lessons are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to my learning style, making it easy to stay motivated and progress quickly.

Megs a native French and English speaker which has really helped me gain confidence in speaking.

What I really appreciate is how she balances grammar, conversation practice with unique cultural insights in each session. It’s clear that Meg is committed to helping her students succeed, and I’ve seen noticeable improvements in both my reading and comprehension skills.

If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and supportive tutor, I highly recommend Meg!

I could not recommend Megan highly enough as a French tutor. Before beginning lessons with her, I really struggled with French and with finding a helpful teacher. Megan helped me to love French and even to find it easy. I found her teaching style to be relaxing, fun and engaging and I grew so much in confidence with her help. She is as intelligent as she is patient and kind. Do yourself a favor and try a class with her. You won't be disappointed.

Learn more about Megan

Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?
I grew up in France, and my father still lives there.
Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language’s culture?
Joan of Arc. She is one of the most iconic figures in French history and represents courage and resilience.
Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?
I love the tradition of long dinners, as well as the food and the art.
Why does speaking this language matter to you?
It is part of my heritage and allows me to communicate with my family.
What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
Pronunciation can be difficult and can affect a student’s confidence. I help my students improve it, but I also encourage them not to worry about being perfect at first.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.
I understand how a fear of making mistakes can affect language learning. I also found it difficult to put the Spanish I had learned into practice because I was worried about getting it wrong. In the end, I was always glad that I tried to communicate.
How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?
Travelling around Spain really helped me improve my Spanish because it forced me to use the language in everyday situations.
What makes you a Superprof in language?
I genuinely care about each of my students’ learning goals and want to help them achieve them. I think learning a new language while teaching one allows me to relate to my students better and understand the challenges they face.
