About Anne-Laure

I am a native French speaker, and I speak French, Creole, Spanish, and English. I have always been passionate about learning languages and connecting with others. Being able to make myself understood and to understand someone from another country is a beautiful thing, and that is what motivates me to teach. I started with a degree in English and Spanish (LEA) and later completed a master's degree in Web Marketing, combining my studies with my passion for teaching. I love philosophy, music, and film, discovering the world, and, in the future, continuing to learn new languages. I have two years of experience as an education assistant, supporting language teachers and giving some classes, which reinforced my vocation for teaching and creating dynamic and engaging classes.

About the lesson

My teaching style is based on personalized, practical instruction tailored to each student. As a native French speaker, my goal is to make learning clear, motivating, and pressure-free for both children and adults. I primarily use a communicative approach, prioritizing comprehension and speaking skills. Grammar and vocabulary are introduced gradually and always applied to real-life situations, so students can use French from the very beginning. Thanks to my fluency in Spanish and English, I can explain the material in a more accessible way, depending on the student's needs. Each class is adapted to the student's level, age, and personal goals (academic support, conversation, practical or professional French). I typically structure the sessions with a brief initial review, the introduction of new material, practical exercises, and conversation activities. At the end of each class, I offer a simple and engaging mini-quiz to reinforce what has been learned, check comprehension, and track the student's progress in a positive and motivating way. My classes are for children, teenagers, and adults, from beginner to intermediate levels, who want to learn French or improve their speaking confidence.
