About Clémence

My mother is French and growing up in London I always ignored my French roots. As an adult I studied Spanish and lived in Latin America. Learning this third language made me realise how lucky I am to have been born learning French! I want to pass on my mother tongue to keen learners out there.

About the lesson

My mum taught me French at home whilst I was attending an English primary school. So I know how committed and patient you must be when learning this language. I then went to a French secondary school and obtained the highest grade of my cohort at the French Baccalaureate!

I had Miss Mcavoy as my tutor in year10. She was the best form tutor ever. She is funny and kind and always up to do new things in class. She allows us to discuss our thoughts on certain topics and wasn’t afraid to share her opinions too. Miss was a great teacher and will be a great teacher to others
