About Asma
I am a passionate recent psychology graduate who has past experience of volunteering as a teacher previously. I volunteered at an orphanage to help children who could not afford private tuition and it was really rewarding for me to see their progress over the 2 years I was teaching them. They gained confidence in their learning abilities and managed to achieve higher grades. This experience was really fascinating for me and it encouraged me to pursue a degree in psychology with education.

For two years, I provided one-on-one tutoring in French and English at all levels, from GCSE to A-Level, tailoring each session to meet the individual needs and learning styles of my students. I pay attention to meet all the requirements of the children who I am teaching by learning about specific areas where they might need extra help and by helping them to focus on those areas. My experience includes teaching children with special educational needs, where I adapted my methods to ensure lessons were both accessible and engaging. I helped students build their confidence and achieve their academic goals. My personalised approach fosters not only subject mastery but also a genuine enjoyment of learning.
