• Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

  French is my native language. I specialized in teaching this language. When I entered to university and studied French teaching degree.

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  There are so many French writers, philosophers, filmmakers, and singers that it is difficult for me to mention just one. But to mention some: Annie Ernaux, Amélie Nothomb, Rimbaud.

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition, or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

  Food-related traditions are my favorites. I would say the Candelaria for example. February 2nd is the perfect time to eat crepes and learn more about French.

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  French is the official language in 29 countries, in addition France leads several markets such as beauty, vouchers, etc. French-speaking countries such as France, Canada, or Switzerland, for example, have a great presence in the American continent, and speaking French can represent a great job opportunity. At the school level, a certain accredited level is often required to obtain a scholarship or go to study in a French-speaking country.

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  I am often asked this question, and although many times the answer depends on each student, I can say that grammar and pronunciation would be the most difficult points of French. Practice is what it takes to overcome those difficulties. It should be done in different ways: speaking, reading, reading, and writing.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  I can say that this language is fascinating and has many things to discover. Since I started my teaching career, I rediscovered my own language.

• How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  French is my native language, but during trips to other French-speaking countries, I discovered different expressions and obviously different ways of thinking and using words. Traveling opens your mind and allows you to learn a language more easily.

• What makes you a Superprof in language?

  Being a teacher is what I've always wanted to do, I love my job, and it makes me very happy to do it every day. My classes are very dynamic, I use my own material and I'm very patient. Is my passion and with me you will always have answers to your questions.
