About Roxane

I already have a strong experience as a tutor in France. I've helped many pupils with different levels for two years. Among my student jobs, this one is probably the most rewarding. I really enjoy seeing my pupils improve and get confidence in what they do.

Being still a student myself, I understand how we can feel facing difficulties, stress, and homework. I'm here to reassure any student about their capacity to learn and improve. I also know what makes a class interesting and dynamic for a student. In this regard, I often use fresh references from pop culture to catch my pupil's attention or give dynamic courses changing regularly the exercises during the class.

About French class, as a native speaker, I also identify formal and informal language and can guide a pupil to use accurate terms.

About the lesson

I'm an exchange student at USC for the year and I'd be happy to help you improve your French!

I've already practiced tutoring for the past two years in France for middle and high school pupils. Therefore, I know how to understand the specific needs of a pupil and be available to my students.

As a Native speaker, I could precisely help you to work on your accent, acquire precise and new vocabulary, or to be more fluent by having a real French conversation.

I don't really have a general method because I like to adapt my classes to every student regarding their specific needs.
I can do every type of class: helping with homework for a French class, having a casual conversation in French, or focusing on a precise grammar point or theme every week.

I usually use the two first classes to identify the main weaknesses of a pupil through fun and classical exercises and then, work on specific exercises to improve those more sensible points. I also like to use contemporary references, to contrast traditional learning in school.
