About Sarah
Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m originally from Munich, Germany, and have been living in Sydney for several years. I’m a native German speaker and fluent in English at C2 level (IELTS 8.5).
I’ve worked in both Germany and Australia across corporate, training, customer service and management roles, so I’m used to communicating with people from different backgrounds and explaining things clearly and patiently.
Having built a life in another country myself, I know how much of a difference it makes when you can actually communicate confidently rather than just understand a language on paper.
Outside of work, I love traveling, photography, writing, art and yoga. I’m friendly, easy-going and genuinely enjoy meeting new people, so my aim is to create lessons where you can relax, ask questions and feel comfortable speaking German.

My lessons are aimed at adults and beginners who want to build confidence and use German in real-life situations. We can focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary and practical German for everyday life, travel, work or preparing to live in a German-speaking country.
Lessons are tailored to your individual level, interests and goals, with an emphasis on actually speaking and using the language in a relaxed environment. For beginners, I can explain grammar, vocabulary and differences between German and English in English whenever needed.
I’m a native German speaker from Munich and fluent in English at C2 level. Having lived and worked in both Germany and Australia, I understand firsthand what it takes to become confident communicating in another language. My professional background also includes training and onboarding staff and explaining new concepts and processes clearly.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are available in person in Sydney or online.
