About Richard
I am a German national with 3 years of experience in teaching smaller groups of students and Individuals of almost all ages.
I studied Tourism Management and went on to do an MBA in Business Management. I gained my teaching experience both in Germany and the UK.
With a practical approach, I help students to reflect themselves in case studies and subsequently learn more effectively.
My experience and understanding of teaching, not only as a teacher but also as a student myself I appreciate the importance of a teacher not only being knowledgable but being able to identify himself with the materials and the students they teach.

My teaching method is to make each lesson as exiting and as practical as possible. I tent to use a lot of case studies with which the student can identify. I understand that the more students can project their daily routine into a particular subject the more likely they are to participate, as they will always have something to add out of their own experience, subsequently they are forced to speak the language and learn in the process. That is essentially what language is all about - understanding and responding.

I don't charge anything for lessons within Colchester. anything outside Colchester will be charged at £3.
Cancellation is to be made within 24hours of the lesson. Failure to do so will incur a fee of 50% of the lessons fee. less than 2 hours before will incur a fee of 100% of the total.
