About Jesse
Hi, I’m Jesse — a native German who has lived in the UK for over 20 years and works in Cyber Security tech sales, speaking German with executives across the DACH region every day.
Most learners can handle textbook German — but freeze in real conversations. I help bridge that gap.
Through my career in business development, I conduct professional calls, negotiate with decision-makers, and write concise, high-level business emails daily. That means I teach the German that’s actually used in meetings, phone calls, and boardrooms — not just what’s found in textbooks.
My job has trained me to communicate clearly and without fluff. In sales, you have 30 seconds to make your point — and I bring that same clarity into my teaching. Instead of long academic explanations, I give practical, punchy guidance that sticks.
I combine the empathy of a relaxed, supportive tutor with the precision and professionalism of a DACH business representative. Whether you’re a beginner building confidence or a professional preparing for meetings, I’ll help you speak German naturally, clearly, and with impact.

My teaching style is built around confidence and context. We don’t just memorise grammar — we use it immediately in real-life situations.
Every lesson follows a clear but flexible structure:
• Warm-up in German to switch into “German mode”
• One focused new concept introduced through real-life examples
• Guided practice with roleplay and supportive correction
• Free speaking time to build fluency and independence
For example, instead of talking about train tickets, we’ll screen-share the Deutsche Bahn website and practise booking one together. Instead of rehearsed dialogues, we simulate real conversations — from ordering in Munich to leading a business call.
Lesson lengths are adapted to age and goals:
- Children: 25–30 mins (short, engaging, high retention)
- Teens: 45–60 mins
- Adults: 60 mins
-Intensive exam/professional prep: 90 mins
My goal is simple: help you move from learning German to actually using German — confidently and naturally.
