About Aviya

My name is Aviya, I'm 24 years old, was born in Israel and moved to the UK about 4 years ago. While living in Israel I was a soldier in the Israeli Air Force, my job was to teach basic English to other soldiers.
Currently I’m a student in UCL expanding my Hebrew knowledge.

About the lesson

After living in both countries I feel like I can bring the cultural aspect as well as the language in my lessons. During my army service I went through a Technical English course and a teaching course. In my free time I do freelance translating to and from English and Hebrew. My lessons are suitable from any level, we can even start from no prior knowledge. Since starting studying Hebrew at university I am also able to teach more in depth and in an academic way.

Perfect! Aviya is a very good teacher, she's very clear and provided me with a vocab list which is useful for practise. She also finds a way to add in slang and more conversational language that would be very helpful when in Israel!
