About Clarice
I was born and raised between Italy and England, which helps me understand both languages and methods of learning really well.
Growing up in a family where multiple languages were spoken (also including Spanish, German and French) has allowed me form a strong affinity for languages, which in turn has helped me in my teaching.
I have always taken my studies and previous work experiences very seriously, which has allowed me to both score high grades and secure excellent feedback.
As a tutor, I am patient, kind and understanding, and only strict when I have to be. I love to bring a positive and optimistic attitude to my classes (especially when exams are coming up!).
Staying in contact with my former students and hearing about their results and progress makes me feel incredibly fulfilled, as it shows that I was able to build a relationship of trust, without any judgement or harsh criticism.
I look forward to meeting new students and play a helpful role in their journey!

- Methodology:
I am an extremely patient tutor, who likes to make the student feel as comfortable as possible, as I strongly believe that it is only in a safe environment that the most learning can take place. I always want to make sure the student has fully understood a concept, however many questions/ time that may take.
- Length:
My preferred length of teaching is 1h max, as I believe concentration tends to decrease afterwards.
- Experience:
I have been part-time tutoring for over 5 years, both helping students prepare for upcoming examinations and adults learning Italian/ English as a hobby.
- Level:
Given my mixed experience, I am happy to teach students of different levels and ages, by preparing bespoke lessons to suit different needs.
