About Ericka

A little about me

Ciao! I'm a native Italian speaker, born and raised in Italy, and a Law graduate. I'm also an experienced Sunday school teacher, which has helped me develop my patience, communication skills and ability to explain things in a clear and approachable way.

Languages have always been an important part of my life, and I love how learning a language can help us connect with people, discover new cultures and experience the world differently.

Why I want to teach Italian?

I'd love to share my language and culture with others and help make learning Italian an enjoyable experience. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I want to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence.

Whether you're learning Italian for travel, work, family, studies or simply out of curiosity, I'll tailor our online lessons to your needs, interests and goals.

For me, teaching isn't just about learning vocabulary and grammar; it's also about helping you feel confident enough to use the language in everyday life.

I'm excited to be part of your learning journey. Let's work towards your goals together!

A presto!

Ciao!

I'm a native Italian speaker and Law graduate with experience teaching Sunday school. I enjoy helping others learn in a supportive and relaxed environment, and I'd love to help you feel more confident with Italian!

My teaching approach:

Everyone learns differently, so I like to adapt my lessons to your individual needs, interests and goals. Whether you want to learn Italian from scratch, improve your grammar and vocabulary, practise everyday conversations or feel more confident speaking, we'll work at a pace that suits you.

I believe learning a language should be practical, engaging and enjoyable! Depending on your goals, our lessons can include conversation practice, pronunciation, grammar exercises, vocabulary building and real-life situations to help you use Italian naturally.

What to expect:

Lessons will take place online and can be tailored to your preferred learning style. I suggest starting with 45–60-minute sessions, giving us enough time to cover new topics, practise together and review what you've learnt.

Who are my lessons for?

My lessons are open to everyone, regardless of age, background or current Italian level. Whether you're a complete beginner, looking to refresh what you already know, or hoping to improve your fluency, we'll tailor our sessions to your needs and goals.

You might be learning Italian for travel, work, studies, connecting with family or simply because you love the language. Whatever your reason, I'm here to help you learn at your own pace and enjoy the process along the way!

My experience as a Sunday school teacher has helped me develop a patient and approachable teaching style. I understand the importance of explaining things clearly, encouraging questions and creating a comfortable environment where you can learn without feeling afraid of making mistakes.

Let's work towards your goals together!
