About Yuuka

- Regarding the location for our lessons, I am more comfortable with a cafe/restaurant (or a park in Spring-Autumn) around Mont-Royal station. I can teach Japanese at students' places as well (depends on how far it is) - Online is available too (Discord or Google Meet). I am a Japanese tutor who likes to make my students feel safe to make mistakes and motivate them to study the Japanese language dedicatedly. Since I was a child, I have loved Japanese literature and writing, so I am particularly confident in particles and grammar. I have taught over 2600 lessons in the past 2.5 years online. (Preply) I have experience studying English at an English language school and online. I’ve taken lessons with multiple teachers, and through that experience, I’ve learned which types of lessons are the most useful and practical. I enjoy teaching useful Japanese words for conversations, having speaking practice, teaching the words that my students want to express, solving the problems/questions from my students, personalized lessons with fun :)

About the lesson

I would like to help and support beginners to advanced who are struggling with the nuances of the Japanese language
I am here for you to teach both natural spoken Japanese and proper written Japanese.

Since I was a child, I have loved Japanese literature and writing, so I am particularly confident in particles and grammar.
I personally think my lessons are for speaking/conversations rather than textbook Japanese.
( I use a textbook for beginners, but not for intermediate or higher level learners. For intermediate or higher level learners, I use online resources such as JLPT websites, News article websites etc... I suggest having notebooks for our lessons.)

Raphael is an ambitious student who already speaks natural Japanese and is also curious about new vocabulary and grammar. He is very funny but also serious about learning Japanese. Hope he will have a fun time with his family in Japan soon.
