Hi, I'm Karen! I'm originally from Tokyo and currently studying for an MSc in Computer Science in the UK. Alongside my studies, I love staying active — I'm a keen fencer, which has taught me a lot about discipline, focus, and patience, qualities I bring into my teaching too.
I've always enjoyed helping others learn, and Japanese is such a big part of my identity that sharing it feels natural to me. I'm a native Japanese speaker with 7 years of tutoring experience, teaching students from secondary school age through to working professionals.
