안녕하세요? Hello, I am a native Korean speaker born and raised in South Korea. I currently live in Norwich, UK. Teaching languages is my passion—I hold a TESOL certificate and spent years teaching English in South Korea at primary schools and language institutes, working with everyone from young children to adults. Now, I am bringing that extensive teaching experience to help you master Korean! Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to polish your conversational skills, I know exactly how to guide you through the challenges of learning a new language.

I offer personalised, engaging lessons tailored entirely to your goals. I understand what it takes to build confidence in a foreign language, and I make sure our sessions are supportive, patient, and highly focused.

Free First Online Session for Everyone! To help you get started, I offer a completely free 1-to-1 online introductory session. Even if you want to do in-person or small group lessons later, you are warmly welcome to book this free online session first! This is a relaxed, zero-pressure opportunity for us to introduce ourselves, discuss your language goals, evaluate your level, and see how we work together before you commit to anything.

All Ages Welcomed (Children to Adults): I welcome students of any age! Whether you are looking for creative, fun, and patient lessons for a child, academic support for a teenager, or practical, goal-oriented language skills for an adult, I adapt my teaching style perfectly.

Hangeul from Scratch (Master Reading & Writing): I specialise in teaching Hangeul properly from the ground up. You won't just memorise shapes; you will learn exactly how to read and write them correctly from day one so you build a flawless foundation.

Tailored Lessons for All Levels & Interests: Beyond the basics, I fully customise lessons to your goals—whether you want to master complex grammar, prepare for business and travel, or build conversational fluency. If you are learning just for fun and entertainment, we can even use your favourite K-dramas, K-films and K-pop lyrics to learn real-life slang and everyday conversation at your own pace!

Private & Small Group Lessons: While I specialise in customised 1-to-1 private tutoring, I am also happy to teach small groups of friends or family members! Studying together completely removes the pressure, adds a huge element of shared fun, and lowers the cost significantly.

In-Person Lessons (Norwich & Across the Norfolk Coast): I believe the best language learning happens in a quiet, focused environment. For our lessons, I highly prefer using local public libraries rather than busy cafes. Meeting at a library gives us a professional, classroom-like desk space where we can fully concentrate, lay out our textbooks, and focus deeply on your goals.

Where We Can Meet:
I can meet you at a wide range of library branches all around the Norwich area and neighbouring towns. All of these locations feature evening "Open Library" access until 7:00 PM on weekdays, giving us a warm, safe, and flexible space to study. We can choose the location closest to you:

Norwich City Centre & West: Millennium Library (The Forum), Costessey Library, Earlham Library, and West Earlham Library.

North & East Norwich: Hellesdon Library, Sprowston Library, Taverham Library, Mile Cross Library, Plumstead Road Library, and St Williams Way Library (Thorpe St Andrew).

South of Norwich: Hethersett Library, Poringland Library, and Tuckswood Library.

North Norfolk Towns, Villages & Coast: Aylsham Library, Wroxham Library, North Walsham Library, Holt Library, Cromer Library, and Sheringham Library. (I also happily serve students in neighboring coastal areas like Blakeney, Cley next the Sea, Salthouse, Weybourne, and East and West Runton by meeting at the nearby Holt, Sheringham, or Cromer libraries!)

East Norfolk Coast: Mundesley Library, Stalham Library, Martham Library, and Caister Library. (I gladly serve students in coastal villages like Overstrand, Trimingham, Bacton, Walcott, Happisburgh, Sea Palling, Horsey, Winterton-on-Sea, Hemsby, and Scratby by meeting at whichever nearby branch is most convenient for you!)

(Of course, if you strongly prefer a local cafe or an outdoor session, I am happy to adapt to your comfort!)
