About Dayeon

Being a university student who has learned a second language myself, I understand firsthand how exciting—yet sometimes intimidating—it can be to speak a new language. I know the courage it takes to open your mouth and form a sentence, and I am here to be your patient and supportive guide.

I started tutoring because I love sharing authentic Korean language and culture with people from diverse backgrounds. Before Our First Lesson: To make sure we start at the perfect pace for you, I provide a short pre-lesson level test before we meet. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your conversation, this simple check helps me tailor our lesson plans to your specific needs

Customized & Practical: Every student has different goals. I design lessons around your specific interests—whether that’s daily conversation, travel Korean, K-culture, or structured grammar.

Clear Explanations in English: I break down complex Korean grammar and nuances using clear English so you never feel lost or overwhelmed.

Active Speaking Practice: Language is learned by speaking. I create a comfortable, low-pressure environment where you speak as much Korean as possible without worrying about mistakes.

Shared Notes: After each class, I provide personalized feedback so you can easily review what we covered.

2. Lesson Duration & Structure:

How We Spend the Hour:

0–10 min: Warm-up talk and casual daily conversation

10–35 min: Learning new expressions, grammar points, or topic-related phrases

35–55 min: Interactive conversation and role-play practice

55–60 min: Q&A, written feedback, and assignment for the next class

Levels: Beginners to Intermediate learners

Beginners: Hangul (alphabet), basic sentence structures, and essential travel phrases.

Intermediate: Conversational practice, vocabulary expansion, and natural pronunciation.
