About Sally
I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan with experience teaching Mandarin to both children and adults. I also have an academic and healthcare background and many years of experience in education. I am patient, organized, and enjoy helping students feel comfortable speaking Mandarin. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and goals. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students can practice, make mistakes, and gradually build confidence.

My Mandarin lessons are personalized to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I focus on practical conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, and Pinyin to help students build confidence speaking Mandarin. For children, I use fun and interactive activities to keep them engaged. For adult learners, lessons can focus on everyday conversations, travel, family communication, or other personal goals. Beginners are always welcome!
