About Hitomi
I'm currently a college undergrad who is very passionate about learning foreign languages. In high school, I founded a tutoring club at my Chinese school geared towards helping struggling non-native Chinese students, providing them with a community to practice their Chinese. Since then, I've tutored 20+ students on a one-on-one basis from grades K-12 in both English and Mandarin.

I'm fluent in Mandarin, since I speak it at home and have taken weekend classes for 8 consecutive years. I also took AP Chinese and received a 5. I am open to students of all ages and all levels of proficiency! Typically, my lessons are more flexible than most and are mainly structured around the student's interests. I'm patient and understanding, as long as you communicate your desires and needs.
