About Janice
Hello! My name is Q（秋）You can also call me Janice. I'm from China, and currently pursuing my PhD in Cinema Studies. With a year spent teaching at the university and additional experience guiding high school and college students privately, my journey in education has been diverse. I enjoy meeting new people, discovering, and learning about different cultures.
I offer tutoring in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Chinese, as well as courses on the history of Chinese cinema. This course will provide an overview of various Chinese films spanning different eras and genres. It will emphasize how filmmakers in China and the Chinese diaspora have navigated their political environments and production constraints. I can also help students to write articles, essays, correct them, do translations.
