Hello! I’m Sarah Guo, a native Mandarin speaker with a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate and a teaching certification in China. I have over 13 years of teaching experience and a strong passion for education.
I am a patient, responsible, and encouraging teacher. I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student’s needs, interests, and goals. I always try to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practicing Mandarin with confidence.
With many years of teaching experience, I understand the importance of clear explanations, encouragement, and step-by-step learning. Whether you are a child, teenager, adult, or complete beginner, I will do my best to make your Mandarin learning experience enjoyable, practical, and rewarding.

Hello! My name is Sarah Guo. I am a native Mandarin speaker with a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate and a teaching certification in China. I have over 13 years of teaching experience and enjoy helping students learn in a clear, practical, and encouraging way.
My Mandarin lessons develop all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. For beginners, we can start with Pinyin, tones, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and useful everyday expressions. I also teach Chinese character recognition and writing, helping students understand basic stroke order and gradually build their reading and writing skills.
Speaking and communication are an important part of my lessons. Students will practice Mandarin through real-life topics such as greetings, family, food, shopping, travel, school, and daily activities. I encourage students to speak as much as possible so they can improve their pronunciation, fluency, and confidence.
I adjust each lesson according to the student’s age, level, interests, and learning goals. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, including complete beginners who have never studied Mandarin before.
I offer both online and in-person Mandarin lessons. Online lessons are available for students in different locations, while in-person lessons can be arranged locally.
