About Mingjie

Hello! My name is Mingjie Wang, and I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from China, currently living in the UK.

I completed my Master's degree in the UK and am fluent in both Mandarin and English.

I have experience teaching students of different ages, backgrounds and language levels. My teaching style is friendly, patient and practical, with a strong focus on helping students communicate confidently in real-life situations.

Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for HSK exams, improving your conversational Chinese, or learning Mandarin for travel, work or personal interest, I can tailor lessons to your specific goals.

I offer flexible online Mandarin lessons as well as in-person lessons in Southampton by arrangement.

A free trial lesson is available so that we can discuss your learning goals and create a study plan that works best for you.

It always feels like chatting between friends, and time flies by very quickly. When it comes to learning Chinese, I feel like she has a talent for learning languages. She learned very quickly, quickly mastered standard Chinese pronunciation and could quickly memorize many Chinese words and phrases. In addition, Charlotte is indeed a very hard-working student. Discounted lesson packages are available for students who book multiple lessons in advance.
