About Martyna
Hi! My name is Martyna, and I’m a native Polish speaker from Wrocław who now lives in Wales. I speak Polish every day at home and visit Poland regularly to spend time with my family, so Polish has always been an important part of my life.
I really enjoy helping people learn languages because I believe they’re a great way to connect with people, experience different cultures and feel more confident when travelling or communicating with others. I’ve also helped friends and classmates with Polish before, which made me realise how much I enjoy explaining things and helping others improve.
My lessons are calm, patient and encouraging. I especially enjoy helping with everyday conversation, pronunciation and natural Polish that you can actually use in real situations. I’m happy to tailor lessons to your goals, whether you’re starting from zero, learning for travel, connecting with Polish family or simply wanting to become more confident.
Outside of languages, I’ve played piano for around 10 years and I love football, art and chess. I’m looking forward to meeting you and helping you feel more comfortable speaking Polish!

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and focused on helping you feel comfortable speaking Polish. As a native Polish speaker who grew up in England, I can explain Polish clearly in English and help you understand both the language and everyday expressions.
I focus mainly on beginners who are starting Polish from scratch or already know a little and want to improve their speaking. We can practise pronunciation, useful vocabulary, everyday conversations and basic grammar at a pace that suits you.
Lessons are typically 50 minutes long. I like to make lessons interactive rather than just going through a textbook, so we can practise real conversations and situations you might actually use in Poland.
