About Dasha
Hi! My name is Dasha, and I’m a native Russian speaker and Computer Engineering student at NJIT.
I grew up speaking Russian and am fluent in both Russian and English, which allows me to explain Russian concepts in a way that is easy for English-speaking students to understand.
I also have experience teaching children and teenagers as a coding instructor, so I’m used to breaking complicated ideas into smaller, understandable steps and adapting lessons to different students.
I’m patient, encouraging, and enjoy helping people learn. Whether you want to learn your first Russian words, improve your pronunciation and conversation skills, get help with a class, or reconnect with the language, I would be happy to help!

I believe languages are much easier to learn when you actually use them, so I like to include plenty of conversation and real-life examples instead of relying only on memorization and worksheets.
For beginners, I can start completely from scratch and explain concepts clearly in English. For students who already speak some Russian, lessons can be more conversation-focused and adapted to the areas they would most like to improve.
My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and asking questions.
