About Валерий
Hi! I’m Valera, a native Russian speaker and an experienced language tutor.
I have already helped 5 international students learn Russian and become more confident in speaking, understanding grammar and using the language in everyday situations.
I speak English confidently, so I can explain Russian grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation clearly in English when needed. This makes my lessons especially comfortable for beginners who are just starting their journey with Russian.
As a language teacher, I know how difficult learning a new language can sometimes feel, so I always try to make my lessons structured, supportive and practical.
My goal is not simply to teach you rules but to help you understand how Russian really works and gradually start using it naturally and confidently.
Whether you are learning Russian for travel, work, studies, communication with Russian-speaking people or simply because you enjoy the language and culture, I will adapt our lessons to your goals and level.

My lessons are focused on helping you use Russian confidently in real-life situations, not just memorize grammar rules.
I adapt each lesson to your level, goals and interests. We work on speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and listening, with a strong emphasis on practical communication from the very beginning.
As a native Russian speaker with strong English, I can explain difficult grammar and language nuances clearly in English when necessary. This is especially helpful for beginners who may find Russian cases, verb forms and pronunciation challenging.
I have already helped several international students improve their Russian, and I always try to create a comfortable environment where you are not afraid to make mistakes and speak.
A typical lesson may include a short conversation, new vocabulary or grammar, practical exercises and speaking practice based on realistic situations.
My lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as students who already know some Russian and want to improve their speaking skills, grammar or confidence.
