About Manu
I was born in Menorca, Spain, in the Balearic Islands, and I am a native Spanish speaker. I have lived in Italy and recently moved to the UK, so I am fluent in English and understand the experience of adapting to new languages and cultures. I am currently learning Japanese, which gives me first-hand insight into the challenges students face at different levels.
I am trained as an architect and worked as a teaching assistant at university level, where I developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to make lessons engaging and supportive. I moved to London to complete a Master’s degree at Goldsmiths University, further expanding my international and academic experience.
I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and creating relaxed, motivating learning environments where students feel confident to speak and grow.

I am a cheerful and easy-going native Spanish speaker offering lessons for anyone who wants to improve their Spanish speaking skills, at any level and age. We will begin with a short level assessment to understand your needs and goals. Each lesson is carefully prepared with different topics adapted to your level of speech and confidence.
My classes are conversation-focused and dynamic. We might describe places, daily situations, or personal experiences, gradually moving towards more abstract and complex discussions as your fluency improves. I adapt to each student’s rhythm and interests.
I am very flexible with formats: we can meet in person or have relaxed phone conversations — some students even prefer practising while commuting home. The goal is to make Spanish feel natural, practical, and enjoyable while building real confidence in speaking.
