About Ilan
I lived in Mexico City for the first four years of my life and then moved to Gilbert, AZ. I grew up speaking Spanish thanks to my parents. They only allow us to speak Spanish at home to prevent forgetting the language. I love teaching others because I am a very personable and social person.

I like to start by teaching the basic grammar rules and vocabulary. I start the first couple of weeks speaking in English until the student understands the basics of the Spanish language which includes grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, tenses, etc. After that, I start teaching the classes in Spanish and use hand movements to get the student more comfortable with hearing the language.
