About Alden
Hello, I am John Alden, a college student in Boston and a native speaker of Spanish and Haitian Creole. Growing up in Haiti and Ecuador gave me firsthand experience with different languages and cultures. I also speak English and understand French.
As a volunteer Spanish and Haitian Creole translator at my high school, I helped people communicate across language barriers. That experience strengthened my interest in making languages more accessible through clear explanations and practical examples.
I offer a welcoming, supportive approach to learning Spanish, with lessons tailored to your interests and goals. Having learned to communicate across cultures myself, I understand how much practice and encouragement matter. My aim is to help you build confidence and use Spanish naturally in everyday life.
