I find out what their weakness is whether it is pronunciation, grammar, or vocabulary and focus on that. I also give strong encouragement to all. In a group lesson, I would try to put the children into smaller groups based on what they struggle with (pronunciation, vocabulary, or grammar). I have found that most students struggle with grammar.
