About Jose
Hi! I’m José, a multilingual language teacher originally from Costa Rica and currently based in Germany. I speak Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian, and I love helping people feel more confident using languages in real-life situations.
My approach is practical, relaxed, and personalized. I don’t believe that learning a language should mean memorizing endless grammar rules or doing repetitive exercises. Instead, I focus on conversation, comprehension, useful vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural context, adapting every lesson to your level, goals, and interests.
Whether you want to learn a language from scratch, improve your speaking skills, prepare for a trip, feel more confident at work or university, or simply have someone to practice with, I can help you build your skills step by step.
I have experience working with learners from different backgrounds and age groups, and I enjoy creating lessons that are engaging and comfortable rather than intimidating. Mistakes are completely normal — they’re part of learning!

My method is very interactive, utilizing videos, music and other resources so you don't get the feel of a monotonous lecture. The lessons are for everyone from beginners to advanced users. A typical lesson starts with an icebreaker and review from the former session to then move onto the contents planned for that session.
