About Nathalie

Hi! My name is Natalie, and I’m currently a student in London studying Music Business. I absolutely love music, and I bring that same energy and creativity into my lessons.

I’ve always enjoyed working with children, whether that’s through summer camps, nannying, or teaching. Over the years, this has helped me develop a fun, patient, and engaging approach, where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

I’m a native Spanish speaker, and I love helping students not only learn the beautiful language that is Spanish, but also grow in confidence as they use it. Seeing students improve, express themselves, and feel proud of their progress is what makes teaching so rewarding for me.
My lessons are interactive and enjoyable, while still being structured and focused on real progress. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel supported and excited to learn.

About the lesson

I take a friendly, structured, and student-centred approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to the individual needs, level, and goals of my students. As a native Spanish speaker with nearly eight years of teaching experience, I focus on building confidence while developing all key language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

I hold Bachillerato qualifications in Spanish and Spanish Literature, both achieved with sobresalientes (top grades), which reflects my strong academic foundation in the language alongside my native fluency.

My teaching methodology combines conversational practice with structured grammar and vocabulary work. I create an engaging and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. For younger learners, I incorporate interactive activities and games to keep lessons enjoyable, while for GCSE-level students I focus on exam preparation, past papers, and improving accuracy and fluency.

A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, although I can adapt the length depending on the student’s needs. Each session includes a mix of conversation, targeted exercises, and review of previous material to ensure steady and measurable progress.
I have experience teaching children and teenagers up to the age of 16, as well as beginners. I have also supported both English speakers learning Spanish and Spanish speakers learning English, which gives me a strong understanding of common challenges learners face. Additionally, my experience working with children has helped me develop a patient, adaptable, and engaging teaching style.

My goal is to help students not only improve their Spanish but also enjoy the learning process and gain confidence using the language in real-life situations.
