About Belén

I am Belén, a native Spanish speaker and an experienced private tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience. I started tutoring when I was 16, and teaching has been a passion of mine ever since. I have always found it incredibly rewarding to help students learn, gain confidence and discover that they are capable of much more than they initially thought.

I especially love seeing my students’ progress over time and being part of their learning journey. For me, teaching is not just about explaining grammar or vocabulary; it is about creating a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, motivated and confident enough to communicate.

I have taught students from 3 to 23 years old, as well as adult learners, and I have experience preparing students for Cambridge exams. I also worked as a substitute teacher of English and Spanish in Norway and currently work at an international school in Spain.

I am a patient, friendly and enthusiastic teacher, and I always adapt my lessons to each student’s age, level, personality and goals. My aim is to make learning Spanish enjoyable, practical and rewarding, while helping every student see their own progress.

About the lesson

I am a native Spanish tutor with over 15 years of experience teaching students from the age of 3 to 23. I offer engaging and personalized online Spanish lessons for children, teenagers, young adults and adults, adapted to each student’s level, goals and learning style.

I have experience preparing students for official Cambridge exams, as well as helping learners improve their speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar and confidence in Spanish. I also gained international teaching experience in Norway, where I taught English and Spanish in a secondary/vocational school.

My lessons are friendly, structured and practical, with a strong focus on communication and real-life Spanish. Whether you are starting from scratch, improving your conversation skills or preparing for an exam, I will adapt the lessons to you.
