About Carla
I have a degree in Advertising, but decided to exchange the agencies for language schools nearly 10 years ago. I have been teaching English for 9 years and last year I decided to start teaching Portuguese too. I wanted to benefit from the fact I live in London and have more contact with people of other nationalities. I have had a great time helping people improve their communication skills and satisfying their curiosity about the language and the country.

For beginners, I use the book Novo Avenida Brasil. For more advanced students, I prepare a new text for every class, which enables me to teach you new vocabulary and correct your pronunciation, besides giving us a topic for discussion. I do my best to work with all 4 skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. According to the student's necessities and interest, I also suggest other resources to complement the lessons.
